This service consists of the installation of new pads on your saxophone. Re-padding is not a Mechanical Overhaul, so your saxophone should be in good working order prior to re-padding. All actions described in our P.C. will be undertaken as well. Turnaround time is usually 8 -12 days.

Re-pad includes the following:

• Inspect saxophone and notate all key height openings
• Use pads appropriate to the instrument - resonators will be plastic
• Installation of oversize/custom pads and resonators available at customer request and expense
• Bathe the body, goose neck and keys
• Degrease mechanisms
• Repair dents that cause key binding
• Replace springs as required - up to 3 within re-pad fee
• Replace neck and key corks as required
• Align and seat pads
• Lubricate saxophone
• Play test saxophone

Prices start from:

• Student level soprano: $300
• Student level alto: $250
• Student level tenor: $300
• Student level baritone: discussion with the Technician is required prior to shipment
• Intermediate or pre-professional soprano: $350
• Intermediate or pre-professional alto: $300
• Intermediate or pre-professional tenor: $350
• Intermediate or pre-professional baritone: discussion with the Technician is required prior to shipment

**Note: Any and all excessive key fitting/dent work/tone hole leveling will be billed at $60/hr.**
